    ## Advisor Style & Mentorship
    There are weekly meetings.

    ## Expectations for PhD Students
For proposal defense, it's required to have two papers published as the first author in high-ranking conferences. For thesis defense, three such publications are necessary. The submission is exclusively to high-ranking conferences, making publication intensely competitive. It's common for PhD students in their third or fourth year to still lack sufficient publications.

She will require the student to undertake projects that are unrelated to their thesis and will not contribute to their PhD requirements. Despite the considerable time and effort invested in these projects, it should be noted that the acceptance of any resulting papers will not be recognized as part of the PhD credentialing process for the student.

    ## Funding & Support
PhD positions are funded. Although the funding is modest, it supports a standard student lifestyle.

    ## Research
Her extensive experience provides valuable academic and research insights. She is intersted in machine learning areas.

    ## Lab Culture
    * Remote Work Flexibility: She allows working from home, with no requirement for physical lab presence.
    * Limited Tolerance for Failure: While initially understanding, her patience wanes with continued project failures, leading to outbursts of anger.
    * Harsh Criticism: She frequently uses disparaging terms like “garbage” or “your work sucks” if work fails to meet her high expectations.
    * Interruptions and Blunt Feedback: She often interrupts presentations with questions and bluntly expresses dissatisfaction, using phrases such as “what in the hell is happening?”.
    * Demanding Deadlines: She may reach out unexpectedly at any time, including nights and weekends, particularly near deadlines, to demand work on projects or papers.
    * Impact on Mental Health: The combination of the PhD's inherent challenges and her disrespectful, yelling behavior has contributed to lab dropouts, indicating a significant toll on mental health.

No, I don't recommend this PI.
