    ## Advisor Style & Mentorship
The professor does not have regular meeting with students and there is no regular group meeting. The ideas that professor provide during the meeting are not quite helpful. The only thing that professor will do is to ask where your paper is when the deadline is approaching.

    ## Expectations for PhD Students
6+ top tier conference paper + 3 top tier journals. However, even if you reach the expectation, he will say that some of your publications are not coherent to your thesis so they won't count. It usually takes 7+ yrs to graduate. See how many student quite from the lab website.

    ## Funding & Support
When I was in the lab, the funding was OK. However, from my understanding of the current students, the lab is running out of funding now and all students have to find TA mostly every quarter. Also, the professor tends to ask student not to spend much time on industrial project, as long as he gets the money.

    ## Research
The research direction in the lab is quite diverse. Not much collaboration between students. No long term collaboration between industry. Lots of limitation for doing an internship in industry.

    ## Lab Culture
Students complain the lab under the table, but acting OK in the public.

As an alumni, I don't recommend the lab. Luckly, I am not in the lab now :)

No, I don't recommend this PI.
