    ## Advisor Style & Mentorship
    • No room for discussions. Must follow his orders
    • If you want to discuss something that he is not interested, he won't be available. Otherwise he is available 24/7
    • **Will throw temper and being sarcastic**
    • Meet more than four times a week in average (project, group meeting, papers, etc.)
    • **Every meeting is prolonged at least 1~3 hrs. because he is mad at everything**
    • **90% of meeting time is he being mad at students**

    ## Expectations for PhD Students
    • **Work on weekday after working hours, weekends and holidays**
    • Expect students to collaborate, but will intervene on how they work
    • **Group meetings are on Saturdays**
    • Subjective about how long it takes to graduate. Most students graduate at fifth years, some six or seven

    ## Funding & Support
    • Ordinary funding, no extra payment in Summers
    • Sponsor travelling for conferences, flight, and staying
    • Will be assigned as his TA in his class so school pays, not him.
    • Never cares about student as a human being

    ## Research
    • Good at placer algorithms and timing
    • Almost all recent papers are invited papers
    • Will find help in areas which he is not familiar with

    ## Lab Culture
    • Students are so busy handling their own work, hardly have time to discuss or collaborate with each other
    • **Nine students leave in three years**
    • Internship is acceptable, however, workload is not reduced
